Ste. Agathe is quaint tourist town. The Lac des Sables (Sand Lake) is a huge attraction with it's beautiful scenery, islands, tourists, famous actors homes, you can fish, swim and there is a ferry which takes you all around Ste. Agathe. The Captain describes how Ste. Agathe was and show us the famous houses of famous people and how much they are worth.
There is the park at the lake where you can have a picnic, play mini-golf, take a walk, sit on the bench and everyone will talk to you even if they don't know you.
All great events as fireworks, holiday events, even marriages are celebrated by this famous lake. In the summer we have street musicians, outdoor business events once in the summer so that the owners can take their wares outside to promote their businesses. It is a very colorful and joyous time.
It is great for seniors and families here as it is a very safe neighbourhood and many activities to do.
The Ste. Agathe Hospital is very famous for it's care. It is one of the very best.
You can find all kinds of restaurants to enjoy and the main street is filled with people eating outside and music fills the air.
It is very quiet neighbourhood where I live, no barkig dogs, or honking cars. Most people walk and when special events are done, I sit outside as I live right at the lake and people walk by with candles or flags. When it's valentines day they hand out candy hearts. The people are very generous and happy.
Animals are very important to the people on my street and we feed the stray cats. Care for any animal that is in distress.
The people are very friendly and sociable. It is also surrounded by mountains and it is a skier's paradise.
The food is delicious, the people are fantastic, the life is beautiful, the surroundings are clean and the envirement is also very well cared for.
There is never a dull moment in this town. I moved here 3 years ago..temporaily I said..been here ever since. I have fallen in love with Ste. Agathe des Monts and anyone who come here don't want to leave.
You want a place where you can walk alone at night even at two a.m.? You want friendly faces, great activities, room for the kids to play safely, great enviroment and always never a boring moment. Ste. Agathe des Monts, is a great choice.
