a neighbourhood of extremes (has lived here)

There are a lot of shelters and community support centres on and around Sherbourne, especially from Queen to Carleton. As a result there are some pockets that are more dangerous than others. The southern end of Sherbourne from Queen Street south is great, with new condos going up all the time, and more services moving in to support the new residents.
