Best family neighbourhood in Leslieville(has lived here)

Prust Avenue has always been the premium street in Leslieville, being directly across Gerrard from the skating rink at Greenwood Park. Both public and catholic elementary schools are walking distance from the street and include regular school bus pick-ups as well. TTC stop at Prust & Gerrard and 2 mins from Greenwood Station make the street highly accessible - a 7 min drive to downtown or 20 min streetcar. Some of the best restaurants in the City are less than a 5 min drive or quick bus over on Queen Street, as is the Toronto beaches, huge movie theatre, Gerrard Square, Riverdale, lil China Town, and the Danforth. Prust Avenue has alot of young professionals (investment bankers, lawyers, publishers, teachers/professors, consultants, etc.) and has seen a huge value increase over the past 5 years as renters and original owners have sold to new residents who have invested alot of money into the neighbourhood. Hidden away, Prust Avenue has the biggest trees in Leslieville and a friendly developed neighbourhood feel without the "developing neighbourhood" feel of other streets in East Toronto.
