This community has all amenities paid for. Has good schools,both Public and
CatholicSeperate. The Community Centre is very active with Hockey, Figure Skating,
Public Skating (both on rinks in the Centre and on the lake in the winter), Soccer,
Baseball,etc. in spring,summer and fall. Two beaches at either end of the lake which
is also stocked with trout twice a year for those who enjoy the sport of fishing. There
is tennis and basketball at the lake complex during the warm season and ice skating on both the lake and the basketball court in the wintertime. There is a
gas fire pit to warm up around when really cold in the Basketball area. This area is also nicely decorated with lights during the season. When we have enough snow
tobagganing down "Story Book Hill is really fun.
There is a good shopping centre close by with most services available, groceries, drugstore, post office, drycleaners, Doctors, Dentists, Chiropractors. Good dining is
also readily available.
Public transportation is convenient and a large Shopping mall, Library and the Family Leisure Centre with activies for young and old are all just minutes away.
